22ct & 9ct yellow gold, Diamond

“Your amazing transformation of my late mother’s rings to one stunning ring helped me to finally get some closure after her death during lockdown. Your sensitivity was so special and the finished piece is loved and cherished for the next generation. ????Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

This was the beautiful message my cleint Liz sent me after i had remodeled her mothers wedding and eternity bands. Liz had recently lost her mother and wanted to reimagine her rings in to something new that she could love and cherish, these beautiful jewels now becoming part of her story to pass down generations.

For me it was an honour and always is to take something so cherished, and reimagine it in to something loved by the new owner. Something that can be cherished yet again and passed to the next person.

Below I’ve shared some images of the process that transformed these rings into something so special for Liz, and that was to be able to wear her mothers rings again and the beginning of their new journey.

Elizebeth gave me her mothers gold wedding band and eternity ring. The gold band was 22ct and the other 9ct with diamonds. We decided to keep the gold wedding band intact as it was the perfect size, then use the gold for the other ring to create the gold granules for the detail and the diamonds to be set in. The ring was finished to a hight polish with a new hallmark.
